Treating water for a dairy plant in Arizona

 

When a new management team took over a previously closed Arizona dairy farm, one challenge quickly became clear - the cattle were not drinking enough water. The well water had high iron levels and a sulfurous smell that cattle avoided, resulting in decreased lactation.

The new owners considered various water treatment solutions. Within just one month of contacting Falcon Water Tech of Texas, we had designed and built a custom 4 GPM non-membrane pilot water treatment system.

For three continuous months, this system removed all the iron and sulfur smells from the well water across multiple wells and mixing scenarios, finally providing clean, drinkable water for the cattle.

After this successful three-month pilot test, Falcon then designed, built, delivered and installed a full-scale 500 GPM water treatment system within three months.
